At the French National Connemara Pony Show held on Saturday October 25th in Pompadour the supreme champion was ” Currachmore Cashel ” owned by Eamonn Burke from Castlegar, Co. Galway. The reserve champion was the mare ” Posie Melody ” owned by Pascal Wandon from France. Ponies at the show that were sold through Clifden Pony Sales were Magherafadda Lady owned by Carina Lynch from Mirande, France who won the yearling filly class, and “Chequerhill Biscuit” was placed fourth in a strong mares class also owned by Carina Lynch and purchased at Clifden Pony 
Sales.
