Clifden is the heart of Connemara and home to Ireland's leading and largest sales of Connemara Ponies.

 

There are four sales held annually in February, May, August and October bringing together buyers and sellers from around the globe. New for 2007 there will be a sale held in February for the first time. This will take place on Saturday the 24th of February. Connemara Pony Sales has built an excellent reputation with many buyers and sellers attending several times a year.
